Getting 5.1 from a 360

I have a 5.1 set of computer speakers that I want to set up in the living room to get 5.1 out of my 360. What would be the cheapest way to get 6 analog channels out of the 360? I don't need a receiver with an amp, the logitech z5300's are powered by an amp in the sub, I just need the optical (or whatever it is) processed into rca or 1/8" outputs. If I did have to get a receiver, one that can switch between multiple input sources (cable box, 360, xbox1) would be preferred. Any Ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Creative makes a decoder that could do this ( ddts-100 ). I'm not sure if you can get those from a reliable retailer for a reasonable price though.

If you were to get a receiver, you'd need one that has 5.1 pre-outs in order to connect to your speakers. The usual budget receiver options tend not to have that feature.

A better bet than either of these routes might be to get a set of Logitech z-5500s instead. These would have the digital optical input you want for the 360 and you would have a better speaker set while you're at it.
