Since last night,i have been toying with some overclocking functions with the following set up....
Intel X79TO motherboard
4x2gb gskill jsaw 1600mhz ddr3 quad certified
3930k
The board seems a bit different then your typical asus or gigabyte, theres two preoverclocked settings, one is applying a high vcore of 1.34v and a average load is taking the 4ghz clock and dropping it to 3.6ghz with higher then desired temps while the second is applying a 125 bus speed or base clock and leaving the multi at 32x,while keeping the vcore around 1.19v during load while not dipping to 3.6ghz.
Would the second profile be pretty much a suitable overclock with the 125 base clock and the 32x multi?I ran cinebenech 11.5 and intelburn with perfect stability, soon to run prime95 but making sure i am on the right track.
