getting 2 gigs of ram just som questions

hey guys im upgrading to 2 gigs in a week and am wondering what will happen if i add 2 double sided ram sticks it says itll bump my perf down to ddr 333 instead of ddr400. do they even make single sided 1 gig ram sticks? thanks

yes they do, but it will probably cost alot for single sided, because the lower cost ram(kingston, corsair and ocz value ram) is all double sided
