Getting 1920x1080 out of my laptop

I have an inspiron 700m with a 1.6GHz pentium M in it. I can get it to output 1920x1200 to my TV, but I cant find a way to get 1920x1080. Does anyone know a registry tweak, video hack or anything I can do to mess with the preset resolutions of my video adapter.

The adapter is an Intel 82852/82855 Integrated video adapter, and its pretty crummy overall, but I just want to browse web pages and whatnot in 1080p from my couch sometimes.

yeah, when I unchecked show only modes supported, It enabled 1920x1200 (which looks ok but a little weird)

Before that it didnt give me past 1280x1024

what is power strip

So, I was messing with powerstrip for a while, and it appears I can send 1080p internally to my laptop monitor (it scrolls, native 1280x800) However the monitor resolutions are locked and it wont let me create a custom adapter resolution for outputting on the VGA adapter.
