I'm trying to setup some old Half Life Opp Force multiplayer on the home Lan for the kids to play on.

My LCD is 1280x1024, but HL only does 1280x960 max.

My Nvidia 7900 card doesn't scale the game to fit the screen and leaves the taskbar and top of the desktop showing, whereas my old ATI X800 in the other PC scales the screen perfectly without problem.

Is there anyway i can get the Nvidia card to stretch the image to fill the screen like the ATI does?

TIA.
i think this thread covers it

Thats kinda a decision :
Choose 'Manage Custom Timings' from the panel at the right in new nVidia control panel, then start with a blank list('Create') then 'Advanced'. Under 'Scaling Type' choose 'Fixed Aspect' and enter needed resolution.Test.

Kids cannot play HL, huh? :D

Hi
I don't have the new control panel. I'm using 84.21 drivers atm.
Do I have to get newer drivers to enable this?
