as a settlement for my dented door. I think I'm jsut gonig to buy a junkyard door and fix the thing myself for $250, and then spend the rest on a new intake manifold and an x-pipe.

Sounds good to me :D

AFAIK x-pipes are not streat legal in most of the contry :( Not that that would stop me or anything :D

$800 is one hell of an intake. $800 is 1/2 of a good set of heads ( of course your blower makes up for most of that ) for $800 you could bottle feed it at the track if you wanted too.

I know X-pipes aren't street legal. Don't care :)

I'll keep the stock pipe around for smog inspections.

The intake I'm looking at is about $500. I'm planning on doing the heads next summer. I can get a pretty good set of heads for this car for about $1250.

Why not take the extra cash and invest it, thus not wasting your money. You're probably young though and want to enjoy your cash, so if you don't invest, enjoy spending it on whatever.

You could also take the spare money and pay off your ever increasing credit card debt, mini-rossman :D

BTW I changed my oil, notfred. You'd be proud! You inspired me months ago when you made fun of me for not being able to and subsequently explained how to do it ;)
