Gettin some Z-680's

found 'em on craigslist for $125; apparently they're in "excellent condition", i'm gonna go see them/buy them on sunday. finally, good surround sound speakers for a price i can accept. time to put my z-640's out to pasture...the best part is i don't have to pay monstrous shipping charges

Great speakers.. Better for movies then music, but still not bad at music.

Biggest down side for me.. theres either too much bass, or no bass. Not a lot of control there. The sub is either on or off.

oh, but coming from z-640's i don't think i'll mind lol. one of my roommates has some behringer studio monitors and another has z-5500's.

$125 is decent for the z680's, but you could probably get them for $100 if you haggle a bit. I sold mine for $75 a year ago. They've been replaced by a newer model from Logitech, which I believe was replaced by something else as well or is in the process of. They're a bargain evven at $125, but see if you can get them down a bit more.

it's pretty much too late. he was firm on the price, and he already took down the craigslist ad. besides, i'm still stoked that i don't have to pay for shipping lol.

Sold my 640's on Craigs this week for $50. They served me well but it was time to part ways. Unlike you, I didn't upgrade though. Just ridding the house of expendable items. The 680's are nice though...good purchase.
