Here's the story... When my cousin was born my grams set up a college fund for him. When the rest of us were born she forgot about the college fund for him. She gave us all (her grandchildren) 1k in a mutual fund as our inheritence. Mine has accumulated to something like 1600. Well the college fund that she forgot about is going to get divided up between us grandchildren because my cousin is a good guy and made that decision. So I'm getting 3k cash.
