I don't recall Hill or Obama ever talking about it, most likely they are status quo, so they don't further alienate any of the religious zealots.

I am pretty sure Clinton is against even medical marijuana use. Not sure about Obama. Sadly for the pot smokers, it will take a few more generations, imo, before they decriminalize the stuff.

I don't see it as only pot smokers that are effected. The whole country is effected by the war on drugs. It is incredibly expensive, and a horrible failure. We spend billions of dollars every year trying keeping pot off the streets, and yet, children can get it more easily than booze.

The WoD is basically just one big make-work program for law enforcement, courts, lawyers, and corrections. Like the Iraq War, the expense is the whole point.

While I agree with your view I do not think Ron Paul should make it a point of his campaign. He needs to not give his opponents any ammunition to diminish his campaign.

Actually I think I read not too long ago that pot use among teens has actually declined, the much bigger problem right now is with prescription meds, which are addictive and can kill you.

The beautiful thing is that Ron Paul is by far the best candidate the Republicans have so far offered.

I think that's the point, maybe the reason some of us "would never vote Republican" is that you people keep putting upt such uniformly awful candidates. You people voted for Bush...twice...clearly you're no judge of how good a Republican candidate is.

Actually, I'm proud to have voted for Bush twice, no matter how much that pisses you liberals off. Especially considering the mess this country would be in had either of the idiot he ran against actually won. <waits for obligatory Bush stole the election quote>

Oh my, the partisan bickering has started in full force! People, WAKE UP and realize that 90% of the candidates are part of the ESTABLISHMENT and don't give a rat's arse about you or the issues. Ron Paul is a real rarity in this day and age - a man who votes according to his principles (whether you agree with them or not) and does not change his position. He is a true conservative, not a neo-con posing as a "conservative". Ron Paul represents a purer form of Republican ideology, not the bastardized neo-conservative, war and FUD mongering agenda.

I voted for a Republican to replace my Democratic congressman because he voted for the war.

I'm glad you're proud of voting for Bush twice, because everything came out roses.
Do us all a favor and not vote next time, OK.
Take your Mission Accomplished sticker off your car and roll it up and smoke it in your Ron Paul papers.

Considering how unpopular Bush is, i think you're pissing off quite a bit more than liberals.

edit: oh and do us a favor and erase your gene pool, thanks.
