I was thinking the same thing as tRaptor until I saw it was a Quadro. I'm not quite sure what the Quadro's do, but I know they are for those über expensive workstations that do some über hard stuff.

These are workstation class cards. Specs like "16x Full-Scene Antialiasing (FSAA) up to 2048x1536 per display or 3840x2400 for single digital display" and "Dual-link TMDS - Drives one digital display up to 2048x1536 and another at 1600x1200 simultaneously" <-- (For the QUADRO FX 2000) are significant features in a workstation environment. I've never seen features like that in a sub $1000 board (or any board)
