well I was reading the news on the front page, and happened to come across anand's latest post thanking us for participating in the survay, he mentioned that he is getting his wisdom teeth pulled, now if you have ever had them pulled it feels fine till the drugs wear off, then it feels like someone took a nailgun to your jaw. lets wish our leader a swift recovery and as little pain as possible.

Anand: I had mine pulled around your age. Don't worry, it's not that bad. Had mine pulled in the morning and I was eating a sandwich that night. Bite down on teabags to stop the bleeding. That helped me.

/me got his pulled a while ago. Fell asleep, woke up in a different room. Pain kicked in a couple hours later. Next day was eating foods.

Mine were like LDs, had to have an oral surgeon remove all 4 at the same time, they put me under, woke up, pain kicked in a few hours later, but I was back to eating and singing in no time. (I was in a rock-n-roll band at the time, as well as a show choir at college 🙂) It was only a few *ahem* years ago. 😉
 
If it didn't hurt so much I would be smiling from ear to ear right now =) You guys are the greatest. I'm speechless (not only because I can't open my mouth, but because you all are so wonderful).

I don't know what to say other than thanks for the kind wishes, I'm hoping this thing will pass soon as I'm starving 😉

I had all my wisdom teeth pulled, all THREE of them, yep, I only had three, the other one never was there.

Anand, the mouth is very quick to heal, in a few days you will feel fine, and, in a week you will forget all about it, the rough spots where your teeth came out will blend in with the rest of the gum surrounding it and it will be like nothing ever happened.

Did they give you something for the pain? if they did, and you find yourself feeling a little goofy😕 you could drop by O/T and NEF a bit 🙂
