Fly the past and the future for free

With the release of Tom Clancy?s HAWX, Ubisoft members have another chance for some free content.

In HAWX, that would be the XA-20, a futuristic warbird treatment from Tom Clancy?s EndWar, and the Saab 35 Draaken, one of the premiere warplanes of the last century.

Unleashing these aircrafts is easy:

# choose ?extras? from the main menu

# select ?exclusive content"

# enter your account information, or create one from within the exclusive content menu. If you?ve already linked your Ubisoft account, you?ll be able to skip entering your account information.

# simply select the aircraft you want to download first and click unlock. Once the game restarts, you?ll get a pop-up letting you know that you have new content.

# Repeat the process for your second aircraft.

You can use the aircrafts immediately in Team DeathMatch, and earn access to them in Campaign by leveling up.

End results of less than five minutes work: two unique weapons to own the skies with. We hope you enjoy them!

The HAWX demo was fun, but it's a $30 game for me. I'll be waiting until the price comes down.

I absolutely hated the HAWX demo, but I am absolutely digging the way that 360 developers are starting to integrate their games with websites. Fable 2 was my favorite so far, but I expect things to get even better soon.

I wasn't impressed with HAWX. It's an Ace Combat clone and not a vary good one. That's not to say it's a terrible title. Certainly not as bad as LO:MAC or Blazing Angels. For some reason, UBI seems to have a lot of trouble developing a good modern jet combat game.

I bought it last night. Love the game. I don't really care what y'all hatas are saying. 😛

Another thing is the "pre-order codes" that they were talking about are actually just button sequences you press on the home screen. They're all up on GameFAQs now so you can unlock a few more planes for free.

I love these types of games and really wanted to like this. When it was first announced I was like awesome. After the demo I was like" no thanks"

I thought the demo was fun and am looking forward to buying this game. I would have bought it when it was released, but MLB 09 came out that day to, which is what I'll be spending the vast majority of my time playing for a good long while. 🙂

Can you play local co-op or anything in HAWX?

Unfortunately, no, there's no local multiplayer of any kind in the game, which is really too bad.
