The underscore is important. Donald Glover fans would have trouble taking over that sub as the mods ban anyone who shows even momentary dissent in their "on their knees slurping" love of the Dotard.

Well, the one without the underscore was a Trump-supporting reddit until the Glover camp showed up. I suspect the only way a takeover of the_donald would work is if it was flooded with so much content that the mods couldn't keep up... and they somehow convinced Reddit that the existing mods were no longer relevant.
