was about to pull the trigger on the 4400+ but i have been hearing greating things about the opterons, specifically the 175. are they going to stop selling these? should I jump on them now?
 
The 4400+ and the 175 are pretty much the same thing. Opterons are validated for reliability (which doesn't mean that a 4400+ wont be as reliable, it's just not proven) and seem to overclock pretty well. Overall, I'd say that get whatever is cheaper (or whatever you feel more confortable with).

haha...but VStrom..how do you like it?

well i better go ahead and grab the operton while they are still around--why are they phasing them out anyways?
