Basically i want to print a single page document to print the same thing on both sides of the paper. I can do this using Adobe Acrobat by copying and combining the files, but most of my co workers only have Adobe reader installed and they would like to be able to do this too.

Is there a way to do this without needing any other program besides Adobe reader?

What's so difficult about putting the paper back in the printer and simply print the other side? If you don't have a duplexing printer, that's how you do 2 sided printing anyway. You only have to figure out which side should be up when you put it back in the printer.

not sure if i'm interpreting this correctly...

but you can print two copies of that original PDF to a PDF printer driver... that driver should produce a new PDF with two pages

then you can just print that new PDF normally (on both sides)

(works on ubuntu which has a built-in PDF printer driver)

To further add to what corkyg said, if the printer does have a duplexing option. When you go to print, select 2 copies (if its only 1 page) and select Duplex or Print on Both sides depending on how adobe reader shows it
