Bad decision...not keeping with usual high-quality AnandTech web site1 I clicked on the link just for the hell of it (mistake) and it got me into a series of hard to close additional brainless web ads. Clean it up, boys....OK?

but the funnything was i was watchin my dad use the internet today..geeze can u say gullible?!!?...he clicked on every single thing 🙂...lol
 
Congrats- you're the 20th whiner today! Not saying AT should force everybody to pay for the Subscriber services by do doing this, but I did today and it is more than worth it. I don't agree with that horribly annoying banner ad either- they really should replace it with something related to I.T. unless they're paying them twice the rate or something... even then, it's questionable. I don't think a big target audience of much-higher intelligence than average folks here have any interest whatsoever to fall for being a 'winner'.

Anyway man, 30 bucks a year isn't much if you plan on posting here often. Don't do it for the ads- there are other benefits that make the step up worth it. Go for it- the speed gains are amazing (as is the absense of ads!).
 
Odd, I didn't see any of these things you guys mention....

This is an outrage, subscribers deserve to win a million dollars every day too!!

Who do I complain to?!!?
