Well, that happens to be your opinion. Just because you believe they are stupind does not mean that they are. They serve a purpose in the OT forum, just as every other post does also.

I enjoy the banter back and forth in those threads. Sometimes some of the other topics either don't interest me, or I would be repeating exactly what someone else has already said.

I could go to For Sale, and effectively add a comment to the first two pages of for sale items. The comments would end up reading along the lines of say "Nice blah blah blah", or something else. Others do that, I sometimes add a comment, but do not add 100 posts per day.

I used to think along the lines of increasing post count, but not any longer. That to me does seem a waste. I will be the first to admit that I had engaged in that in the past, but after some more senior members pointed out that those actions took the fun away from it (for them as well as others), I stopped.

I even tryed my own nef thread: Sundog's nef thread

Anyway, the thread topic that you do not like, others do. As for my own personal opinion. I think Survivor topics are annoying, should the mods get rid of that topic in the Off Topic forum. No.

Maybe we should have another forum called On Topic.
