And I never said I don't play shooters. I don't play them competitively. Why don't YOU try reading. And gsync is another one of those not gonna spend the extra money until I got extra money from a pay increase kinda thing. Last on the totem pole.
You know full well what was meant, and what you just posted doesn't change the difference, now you're just nitpicking semantics to feel better.
Do you feel better?
Seriously lol... the advice is there and instead of just taking it, you start drama.
Looks like you've got it all figured out, you don't need our help anymore.
Should I get rid of my 2x1080's for a Ti or the new RX Vega?
- FIRST POST
First one I never intended to get another 1080 I got it because my roommate was selling his for a Ti. Second I HOPED Vega would outperform. And it isn't NEED triple pay I don't see the value in spending the extra for the monitor when 60hz is just fine for me. It would have to take a substantial pay increase before I spend that kinda money on a monitor. Rather my games look better. So again how is it a troll post? People were quick to tell me to get rid of my 290x's and go single card but not now. I don't get it. And when I make a post asking peoples opinions I get called a troll?
Unless I got a killer deal I don't think I'd go to 1 1080ti now. I was just hoping the RX Vega would at minimum match the 1080ti and then I'd just put a nice water cooler on there and call it a day for 4k gaming.
You're not selling me on the 144hz. I don't play shooters competitively. If I was price conscious I would go to consoles.
He probably mentioned the trolling since you're all over the place...
You ask if you should get rid your 1080s for a TI
Then you complain about needing a killer deal to get the TI which is the recommended single card to get over 1080s.
Then you say you're not price conscious and if you were you'd go to consoles.
So what are you wanting out of this thread?
You were already explained the 1080Ti was the best SINGLE card for you right now as an upgrade if you don't want to deal with SLI.
You were already explained to that if you didn't want to do so you should wait for the 2080Ti as your setup is already good.
And it isn't NEED triple pay I don't see the value in spending the extra for the monitor when 60hz is just fine for me. It would have to take a substantial pay increase before I spend that kinda money on a monitor.
While we did try to explain this to you, it's PAINFULLY clear you're not wanting to hear it, hence why in posts you were explained to that if 60 hz was just fine for you that you
get a 4K 60 hz gsync monitor when you can and be happy.
So yes,
you're inconsistent so I can understand the frustration.
You already have a setup faster than the proposed setups in your original post.

That's a review showing you.

The best thing you could do for yourself would be to go get a gsync monitor.(or adaptive sync in general....)
However, if you're not open to that due to the cost, despite not being price conscious, then I won't further waste my time. Adaptive Sync and 60hz+ are 2 of the best things to happen in gaming recently from a hardware perspective. If you're this closeminded to talking about either of the two, then I wish you the best, but you're on your own.
This post is completely over the line. Why did you think it was ok to blow someone up like this?
