Maverick Oil and Gas, a Texas based company funded by Jerry Jones (Cowboys Owner), currently at 2.30 and riding the wave of investors buying in for the long haul. Currently they have 3 rigs running, with plans to build 150 in the next year (which means more profits). I bought in at 2.13, and the price has been rising 1-3% per DAY the last 3 weeks. The pros have this pegged as a $5-7 stock by the end of the year. Normally I dont suggest buying individual stocks, but this one looks like a good bet. Solid financial backing, lots of land to further oil exploration and expansion, and rising prices for oil and gas in the future. Get in while the gettings good.

yahoo stock page

You can check up on the latest news and get a good history of the company by searching the news items. Up another 2.5% today already, there's not too much info on the company yet as it just came onto the market about 4 months ago, but if you look at the volumes, large investors are buying up in droves the last week or so.

Here's my advice on investing:

Rule #1- Never trust an anonymous stock tip you read on the internet. Chances are the person simply owns that stock and wants his value to increase.

Um, yeah it does, people do this all the time with low priced stocks. And, I believe it is illegal. This thread should have been locked in 2 seconds...

OCTOBER: This is one of the peculiarly dangerous months to speculate in stocks in. The other are July, January, September, April, November, May, March, June, December, August, and February. - Mark Twain

I buy stock all the time with internet tips..sh1t better than a broker or reling on myself. Tripled with NVDA doubled AMD, but still holding intel fro a year waiting for even again though so not all good...The only truth is you should'nt gamble with more than you can afford to loose. I'll buy in for 10K probably after doing some cursory research..Thanks B

If you recommend stock on internet, you are creating demand for stock, therefore manipulating stock price.

No, you don't need to be licensed, but i do recommend you to D I A F also

From someone who has made $10k in oil and gas this past year...
And I made over $10K from Vanguard.com VFINX last year with almost zero risk and spending zero effort on market timing.

Buying an ultra high stock like this is like going to Vegas and putting it all on black. Win big or lose it all.

And for all we know, Blastomyces is just trying to drive up the stock a bit more before cashing out ("pump and dump"). This is the only time I can recall seeing his name in an investment thread. I'm not saying he is scamming you, just that he could be.
