Get rich quick commercials

Why are "get rich quick" commercials so prevelant during the late evenings? 10p-2a.

Here's an interesting (maybe not, common sense is in short supply) thought....

Market to your target audience. Lottery? Make sure you have the poor areas covered/blanketed.

Target audience. Jobless people don't have to go to bed. Same reason attorney commericals come on in the afternoon.

Ooooooh, that reminds me of the time I was watching a football game and the Chevy "this is our country" commercial and a Chevy commercial entirely in Spanish during the same commercial break. How... paradoxical. They managed to target two different groups and alienate the same two groups at the same time.

Well my SO is a high school guidance counselor. According to her the overwhelmingly majority of her class wants to be a crime scene investigator.

So if you market get rich schemes to people who are too lazy to have a job, you are performing effective marketing. It's common sense for sure...

But maybe, just....just....maybe that you are unemployed because you are a lazy bum and won't go to bed?

Hmmmmmmmmmm.......makes too much sense.

I would think target audience and it's probably cheaper to advertise at night than it is during the day.
