Check out this track "This is what you are" by Was A Bee (pronounced like wasabi, the japanese horseradish).

It's from the album "Freedom Jazz Dance" which is a compilation of music made by contemporary Italian musicians in a 1950s & 60s US jazz/ swing style (e.g., Sinatra).

I think it is a fun and interesting listen.

 
I used to spend of LOT of time learning the Lindy Hop (Hollywood style). It's been a few years, and I've been thinking of taking more lessons.

Anyone else know how to Lindy?

I did...I was never a fan of Big Band/Swing...liked ragtime however...which the previous two are derived partially from

I just thought it was interesting there are a whole group of musicians in Italy of all places making this kind of music in 2004.
