There may very well be some chemical weapons in Syria, maybe even a little of Saddam's old stuff. I could care less and involving ourselves militarily there for that reason would be idiotic. Somehow it is our responsibility to stop the Syrian government from using Gas on its own people.

Looks like the Military Industrial Complex needs more money.

Bush had his Iraq war now Obama gets his own war.

Notice the carefully placed "Leaks" by officials who are not supposed to comment or leak SECRET level information to the media.

Now the Media is preparing the sheep (American taxpayers) for slaughter by reporting on these leaks on the IMMINENT danger it poses.

The drumbeat gets louder and repetitive reporting and leaks to keep the masses in fear.

Expect more talk by the US and allies, expect a big WAR and another 100K+ soldiers in another country fighting an expensive war so we can enrich private industry interests at taxpayer expense and the lives of our soldiers.

Maybe your too young to remember the Iraq war. When bush started the drumbeat he got the media,congress getting the masses greased up and ready so he can declare war. By the time the Propaganda was complete everyone was frothing at the mouth like a hungry dog waiting for Bush to send in the troops.

I agree with you, but this may be Turkey's fight.
If Turkey gets involved they will probably ask for NATO help, more than likely with air and naval support.
I doubt we would put any boots on the ground, but we will probably bomb the crap out of it.

We already have "boots" on the ground. Covert boots, but still. I don't know enough about the whole situation to form an opinion on if we will send in troops yet though.
