Seriously. It won't last much longer. Just let the Mods deal with it.

No one is infringing on your "right" to be Off Topic in Off Topic. They are just saying that they also have a right of P&N in OT. You don't have to click on the threads, it only affects you if you want it to.

I will say this: in forums with a specific P&N area there is a reason. Clicking in OT usually does not tell you of the 'real' thread's basis esp. of one's that are so far off track they are in another land.

Just like bar rules, you start talking about things the locals don't want to hear, you get your tail kicked to the curb. Those that are 'weak' like to take it outside the boundaries.

That said, I will say most that are 'pseudo' political have no idea on the real issues in their fight. This election has brought a ton of those with the 'ID10t' errors into the limelight. I spoke with someone the other day [who insisted I NEED to vote for Kerry] that told me Kerry should be elected because he is finally doing everything we'd want a president to do (not that I am a Bush supporter though either)...when I questioned where all the money is going to come from to perform these actions, they replied 'he will pay for it out of his own pockets...he is one of the richest people in the world and a true american'.

It seems the bar tenders think they are just fine.

On the second point, I agree. I have heard much more of this comming from Bush supporters, but that may have a lot to do with the fact I'm in N. Texas.

I don't know what point you are trying to make, but I have heard both smart/dumb, rich/poor debating both Bush and Kerry way off base of reality.
