That's a a lot to throwdown. I don't see anywhere in the conditions how long you gotta keep the account open...

If you change "WS_3" to "WS_4" in the link, you can view their "2 FREE Motorola Talkabout two-way radios" deal...'only' $1,500 deposit required. I'm sure there are some other onteresting offers lurking deep inside that site :)

Citibank Motorola Talkabout Link

Edit: "WS_2" is 5,000 free air miles, "WS_1" is $100 free (both with $1,500 deposit). Personally, I'm not doing any of these; Citibank jerked me around for 3 months with their "free $100 with $0 deposit" deal last year; in the end they did not honor it, or their word.

Probably will be in the fine print. Hmm... a multi-possibly-billion dollar financial organization that can hire the best and brightest to write up a contract to their benefit or a we misfits hunting for a deal? :)

I wonder who would win :)

Well, obviously you ned to keep the account open about 60 days (which is how long it takes to get the Palm). And the INITIAL deposit is $2,500 - no fine print on how much you need to actually keep in the account.

BTW, what is this Palm m100 worth?

EDIT: Ok, to buy one is about $135 on Pricewatch. For that you put $2,500 into a no interest checking account for at least four months. I guess it depends on how much you want one - month after next.

it's strange when I call in, the CSR said for the palm the deposit requirement is 1500$, plus 4 month account keeping and at least 2 bill payment.
I told her I has local citibank check account, she said I still can apply online or through phone line to get the palm.
the CSR's name is patty,
anyone want to confirm those for all of us?

Last time I checked 60 days was two months. I think it is a good deal.

60 days IS two months. That's about how long it takes to get your Palm.

According to the post after mine - by calling the bank's CSR - you need to keep your acount active for FOUR months.

Clear now?

WS_1 looks like you get $50 for opening a fund acct, and $50 more for paying 2 bills online.
WS_2=5,000 freq. flyer miles for american.

I don't see how that can be blatantly obvious. If you actually read what context they were speaking of instead of just looking for numbers, then you would see that the 60 days refers to when you would receive your Palm m100, within 60 days of the initial throwdown.

xiix-

So you can get the Palm if you already have a Citibank checking account?? Did you call and find out? What's the phone number to do this??

Thanks!

I call 1-800374-9500 twice,
last night the CSR told me 1500 deposit, 4 month contract, new citibank online customer only (but you can have local citibank checking account).
this morning the CSR told me 2500 initial deposit, regular checking account only (mean 6000$ deposit for no month fee), 6 month contract.
I am confused to their reply. But refer to the 100$ deal, I believe the second answer is more possible.
