Hey, it's election day. Put down the bong, the booze or sign off Ameritrade and find out where your polling place is and VOTE!
Help us to another year of political humor, angst and put downs.

Remember if you don't vote your only option is to b*tch in dumb political forums!

Vote like its your last chance at a free election and it won't be!

people, please stop telling me what to go do. If I want to vote, I will. If I don't, I'll post here. You and all your buddies may think it's important but I don't. You can't make it important for me. Tell me it's election day in case I forgot. But don't march around like a bunch of Nazis practically forcing people. Freedom of choice, and I often choose not to choose.

You can't reason with a proselytizer.

Sure you can, you just need simple reasons they understand. Like rocks, fire, axes and guns. Too bad we don't have internet versions of these.

Let us never forget that might always makes right.

This has been around for a while, some here will have seen it:

"One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors" - Plato

As confirmed repeatedly.

Done. Here in VA (and in my district) there were competitive races for Governor, Lt. Gov, and Attorney General (my rep to the House of Delegates ran unopposed). This race featured a number of sleazy ads and charges and I'm hoping the mid-terms won't be this bad.

For the record, here is the Glenn1 (Libertarian) endorsement list:

Governor: Tim Kaine (D) vs. Jerry Kilgore (R) vs. Russ Potts (I) ----> Kaine

Lt. Governor: Leslie Byrne (D) vs. Bill Bolling (R) ---> Bolling

Attorney General: Creigh Deeds (D) vs. Bob McDonnell (R) ----> Deeds
