Get old Geforce2 MX (Mac G4) to run a widescreen display?

Bought an Acer 22" widescreen this weekend. The rez is something like 1600 x 1050. My monitor is shared by a Mac G4 (with a Geforce2 MX) and PC. Any way to get the old Geforce to run a widescreen display? It doesn't support this rez natively.

It probably doesn't have DVI either, you're better of bumping up to a newer generation low-end video card. Even the cheap cards these days will way out perform that MX, and will support that resolution with a DVI connector.
