Get odors out of a mattress?

My little nephew had an "accident" last night. What are some ways to get the odor out of the mattress? It's a spring mattress.

What I told you was the best. Vinegar smell will go away after a week or so. Use febreeze as well.
 
vinegar kills off the bacteria that will fester upon the excess nutrients. that's why it works. roman soldiers did the same thing - their canteens held 1:1 vinegar:water to keep down growths. 😱
