Let me preface by saying that any one that partakes in this type of activity should be investigated and brought up on charges.

Both parties have offered this 'award' for years. For a few grand, you could become 'Physician of the Year' for either party. This guy got a bargain-basement price relative to others I've heard.

"I" would never go to a doctor that thought this was a good thing, believed it was legit or and foremost advertised they were "Physician of the Year".
If your ill, in need of medical attention, you dont want a BS doctor.

This is the first I have heard of this. Got any links to back up your assertion?

Curiously, as a medical student and as a physician I had NEVER hear of such a thing by Republicans or Democrats. Obviously, a quick Google search finds NOTHING associated with Democrats but this story is all over the place for Republicans.

I would like a link or some other info as well, CycloWizard, to back up your assertion that Democrats have offered this award for years.

It's basically the RNC donor list by profession. You sign up by donating to the RNC or better yet, one of DeLay's PACs . . . and make heavy emphasis on your MD.
