I've noticed in my car that even when you turn the vents on to their highest, the vents near the side windows don't get much air coming out ot them (this also happens in my moms car as well).

Is there any way to increase the air that comes out of these vents?

Wire in some 12V fans with independent switches. Make sure to use plenty of duct tape, and remember to post pics :D

..have you noticed that you can't completly shut off the heater also?? We have a number of late model cars and trucks at work and in all of them you can't completly shut off the heater..there's always a low level of warm air flowing even when the heater is off. I'm told this is so because the vents are vacuum controlled and won't shut completly like the old cable operated vents..so I end up running the AC somtimes cause the heater can't be controlled...............:|

Usually this is because the vent is left open. If you turn the vent to re-circulate, air form tehi outside will not be let in and then will not be heated up and enter the cabin.

..well yes..I can circulate cab air..but it would be nice to bring in fresh air without the heater leakage..don't you think??..:D..I have an old truck wit cable op.vents that do a great job of sealing off the heater and allowing me to bring in cool outside air without heater leakage..:)
