Yeah well, I think the only place on the Northeast Corrider that doesn't suck is Boston. You're far North where pollution is less, and its an awesome city.

moving to boston one day for the win.

I live in New Jersey and there is nothing wrong with it from where I am at...

...maybe it's just you.

Maybe you should say "Get me the heck outta Northern New Jersey".

Southern NJ is wonderful.

Bye.

What's your specific rant? Traffic? High cost of living? Idiot politicians? Too much shopping? Too many foreigners? Pollution? Bad signage on the roads? Lack of availability of Mr. Pibb? No smoking in bars?

Inquiring minds want to know.

I live in Northern NJ and am very happy here.

I would certainly like to move somewhere and improve my quality of life, but I haven't found a place that can do that and provide me with a good job.

it really isn't that bad. and i live in your town. ;) the downside to where we live is that we're not extremely close to any major highways. but it's not too bad really.

to be honest, i lived in nyc for the last 6 years and i loved it. i wish i was back but i had to put it on hold for some family priorities.

although boston is a nice city, it's not a place where i'd like to live. i used to visit boston very often about 7 years ago. i used to drive back and forth from new brunswick every week or two for almost a year. and i was just back there a couple of weekends ago. it's just not the same. it doesn't come close to being in nyc, IMO. it's hard to compare any city to nyc.

Agreed :) But where I'm moving to (bridgewater) there is more pollution :) Maybe its just in my head. I lived in South Jersey for 5 years and it seems harder to breathe up here.

oh, and property tax is a bit high in hillsborough. i think to pay for the school system which is supposedly very good. i think that's what my parents said when we moved into town.
