My sis's Linksys wireless router has a very WEAK signal. With my laptop 5 feet away I get 3/4 bars reception. In her kid's bedroom, the signal is unreliable.
I'm thinking three options:
1) Get a better wireless router. However, they have no idea to configure the thing.
2) Get a Linksys signal amplifier. It seems lame that Linksys sells an upgrade to make their crapola router behave better, but it seems like an easy solution. Plus they already have two computers with wireless.

3) Go completely HomePNA 2.0. They could use their same router, but then just get a HomePNA bridge and two HomePNA network cards. The problem with this option is that they're hard to find now in Canada. Where to look?
Actually, there is a fourth option, and that is to use a wireless repeater, but those are pretty hard to find too.
