Get ink out of the dryer?

Accidentally dried my clothes with a pen in them and ink got all over the inside of the dryer. It probably won't come off, but I don't want to take that chance... I've tried a few things like grease lightning and it won't budge. Any ideas?

The same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. Luckily, I only stained a few t-shirts.

Maybe try using a rag dipped in bleach to get rid of the stains. If that doesn't work, I'd say just use the dryer to dry a few loads of wet towels that you don't care about staining. If/when the dryer doesn't stain a white towel, I'd say you are good to go.

Try lacquer thinner but for god's sake let the thing dry out before using it.

You probably won't like my advice, but if you want to hear it anyway, you shouldn't have put a pen in the dryer.

rubbing alcohol should do it....pour on a paper towel and scrub away
