nice program! it definitely looks like the major wireless carriers are waiving the incoming txt msg fees for these alerts, too.

Your parants must not have loved you very much. I feel for you. Please sign up because DUG won't.

My phone doesn't get a signal where I work, and I get amber alerts at work...

But I am sure that you get service on your way to work. Many Amber Alerts ask motorists to be on the look out for a certain vehicle. I am sure that your phone is with you while driving.

Well, I don't usually check my cellphone when I'm riding my motorcycle.:)

Neat that they started this program, hopefully lots of people will sign up. Emailed it to my friends.

I am willing to assume with 99% accuracy that you do own a car and that use it from time to time. An Amber Alert can come at any time of day whether you are at work, home, or out having fun.

I know.... It's a great program, don't get me wrong. And I know how much work goes into releasing an amber alert (you wouldn't believe the amount of information they have to verify to get one)...
