I don't make$50 a hour but I've made plenty of money browsing Anandtech. In fact it's close time wise working vs browsing. So in a way I make a living browsing Anandtech.

It's not my fault. I read documentation faster than I can process it. So I need frequent short breaks.

I'm glad my company understands that there won't be 8 hours of actual work done a day. When we have our sprint planning meetings we base our tasks off of 4-5 actual working hours a day. They understand that your mind needs a break from critical thinking and that things come up. My boss has no problem if he comes up and I'm on a forum or ESPN or something.

And lol @ only $50/hr. I remember my first job.

My god, my last job had some online program where I would have to fill in every f*cking minute of my workday and input it every freaking day. Footprints I think it was called. I hated it, I told my boss and manager I hated it and every day that I had to input this BS data I would add 1 hour for inputing data which gave me 5 hours of OT a week. They didnt like that so they fired me. Which I was very grateful for.

I remember my first job back when I was a wee tyke I made $3.00/hr. With that $3.00/hr I went out and bought my first hooker. I thought at the time this was amazing, and is why people work. Then as time passed, it became sadly apparent that hookers' hourly rates of income outpaced mine by a considerable amount. Now, 43 years later after 30 years with the company I am up to a comfortable $14.57/hr. Unfortunately I have not been able to afford hookers for around 25 years.

Moral of the story: I shoulda been a hooker.

How about some donations to the poor and needy. ^ I feel your pain.

If it was Numara footprints wait until you use SCSM for ticketing.

that is such a waste of time and resources. when companies do shit like that, that's a sign of a bad company.

I did a $65/hr contract to hand-count thousands of little containers! Mind numbing, but it paid the bills and put food on the table. :p

My wifes job is like that, she moved offices and it involved more travelling, they basically said as long as you are in the office between 10am and 3pm and your work isn't suffering they don't give a crap.
