Do they still do pricematches if there is a rebate on the item? I know they don't if there is a coupon code--which isn't the case you described. That's a hella lot of rebate cash to tie up, but, good post none-the-less.

I do know O.M. does rebates after a pricematch as I just did one with them. I would think the policies are similar for competitive purposes with Staples but am uncertain. I know in the past I've done the same at Staples but haven't done any recent pricematch/rebates with them. Unless there is a new policy with regards to pricematch/rebates at Staples I think it's still the status quo.

P.S. ... and you're right there is no coupon code on the scanner so there is no policy to keep you from getting this whole deal.

geez peeps.... all those pricematches? The only item in the list that you need to pricematch is the Visioneer scanner.Even without the surge protecter the deal still works and your out of pocket drops by $5.49 as well as your final cost.
