Updated to reflect 10% off coupon instead of the $5 off $35 coupon. It's just a difference of .99 cents. ;)

I have this thing against buying kitchen tools from a guy who makes a living by being punched in the head.

Otherwise, this is a nice deal. Gonna tell my non-cooking friends about it. Maybe they can move up to grilled meat from burnt toast.

George Foreman is a total idiot and I refuse to buy this grill or go to that muffler shop he promotes. He worries about Fat?? This guy probaby eats a half pound of bacon for breakfast. I don't know why a company would pay a moron to promote products that he could'nt even turn on.

Thats a good price. Maybe I can white out his name.

the annoying thing about the one i have is that there is no 'turning it on', you just plug it in. but they work great, i may get this larger one anyway.

I think it's the GR30 that sells for $89-$99 (the "Jumbo" or "XXL"). This is the normal price for the GR20. Check mysimon.com to verify.

BigDaddy swears by his George Foreman grill. Great product.

Rickwaver, why don't you tell your opinion directly to ole' George in person.
Then we can change your name to Rickwetter instead...

Hey these are basically the old Salton sandwich makers, only with grill plates instead! Still, they work, and they're easy to use...mine has ended up in the graveyard of all kitchen gadgets past though...this reminds me to dig it out and revive it!!!

He may be a dumba**, but man does that grill cook some great food. I use my littler one all the time for sausage, steak, pork chops, and especially chicken. Fast and good tasting if you ask me, plus then i don't have to trudge out in the snow to set up my grill when I want a steak.

Although you're on crack if you think that the 4 hamburger one which that one is sells for 89 bucks, its 59.99 at just about every Target in my little bfe town of Lincoln NE, and i'd rather spend the 3 bucks to just drive down and pick it up.

the $89 version is huge (ie 8 hamburgers or so) and oblong, and may even be grey instead of white, i can't remember at the moment.

i heard that the 59.99 dollar grill has a lid that is too heavy for just cooking one or two burgers and because of its weight and it will overcook a chicken breast (if you're just cooking 1)
is this correct

and also, i went to macy's and this gr20 grill had a timer on it but i'm not sure if the grill at amazon has a timer because i don't see the black box with the red led timer on the lid....

<< $59? LOL...You can get it for $19 some places. >>

There are several sizes...are you saying the extra large has been seen for $19? I doubt that ....

Thanks for the info, I'm considering getting one of this now since my gf is moving out soon. Just one thing, since there's no on/off switch..., is there a temp control? or a timer? If not, how in the world can you tell if your chicken/beef is done? And if you accidently left on after cooking...does it stays on forever until your house is burned down? :)

TIA for clearing this up for me.

as i posted a few posts up, there is a timer on the grill
i went to macy's and there is a led timer on the lid of the grill for the gr20cb xl model
but the box said something to this effect, "now with timer"

what i'm trying to find out is if the gr20cb xl that amazon sells has the timer

AND

if the lid is too heavy to cook one chicken breast or burger

$19 are you an idiot, this is clear that you have not done your research unless you shop in the dumpster, i mean seriously use your head, by the way this forum is for hot deals, not a cold deal for idiots to write on. Lock this thread, it is not a hot deal and besides amazon will mess up your order anyway, go to the store and get it yourself unless you have been reading these forums for days and have not showered.
this is not a hot deal
