this is hot!! although i think firefox renders some pages more accurately, opera is lightning fast

I think Firefox is just barely better than Opera. Opera has never been able to view some pages correctly, but the customizability and features of Opera "right out of the box" seem to be a lot better than Firefox's.

Opera is a very solid browser... too bad I'm just too used to IE and I have all my cookies on here.

Get a registration key anyways, you may later on decide you want to use Opera :p

But you have all that backed up so if/when you have to wipe and reinstall you won't be out on your ass?

Cookies? Why do they matter? Do you have a bajillion passwords stored in them? Or do you mean bookmarks? Cuz you can import your IE bookmarks to Opera. I use Opera 90% of the time. I think it is the best browser overall, even if not for compatibility with all web pages.

I am using Opera right now since I switched to 1600 res and IE has NEVER had the text zoom like Opera has. Words are just too microscopic with IE at this resolution.

Opera made a huge difference when I was on 128mb, before I upgraded ram. Thanks for the link OP.

I am also very interested in this feature. I have pretty bad eyesight, and even my Samsung 193p's native 1280x1024 resolution makes if very hard to read many webpages. I currently use Firefox and set the default text size to something big like 16 font or something. I works great for sites like Google, but for many websites with a lot of HTML tables (like AT, and just about every messageboard), I have to manually press CTRL + PLUS (the + button) to increase the size, as it seems the default size will not automatically apply to these things inside table rows/table datas. Anyone have more insight into this, that I might not have to do this manually every time?
