At my OD here in Miami, I went there earlier today to do some shopping when I came to see if they got anything new in the pc dept. I saw that they had a v3 2000 on clearence for $59.99, then I saw another tag next to it that had the same price info, but it was for $99.99. I figure that it was a v2 1k that was on clearence (because my OD still sells them), but they accidentely had it posted as a v3 2k, funny thing is that the v3 3000 is still $149.99 at my store (even though I noticed that some other people say that they are on sale at other OD's in other states for $129.99, and even some with $30 pricebreaks that made them $99.99 before 3dfx rebates) so there is no surprise to these inconsistencies. Unfortunately, my store didn't have any left, so I could not ask them to scan the card on the register to see if that was just a shelf mistake, then again, they had 7 v3 3k's and no v3 2k's, usually they have more 2k's.

So this could be a possible "hot deal" if you guys have a chance, check out your OD and tell me what's up.

Gokou.

$59.99 - $30 mail-in rebate = $29.99. Can you get an ad with the clearence price listed & take it to a competitor for a price match??

you know what would be cool? If I went to another OD and told them to 155% pricematch my OD's price, then it would be free :D. Hope someone finds out if it's a mistake or not, because I will feel like a d!ck because I missed out.

Next time you are in this scenario, write down the six-digit SKU number on the tag. Then, head for the customer service desk, give them the number and have them give you the specifics. They should be able to give you a price, plus tell you if there are any in stock in their large closet behind the counter.
