Hey all,

I was just getting on to pay my latest bill online, and realised you have to sign up for online billing first. --And that if you did, you get a $25.00 GC from Amazon.com. For those of you on AT&T who get a paper bill every month, this is a good opportunity. --THough you may not get a bill anymore after that.

Just thought someone would like to know. I'm sure glad I found it. If only I could have found it before the $15.00 Hum-vee deal the other day! :(

That's a great deal.....but be warned!

AT&T is notorious for false advertising. I'll give you a little synopsis of what they did to me. Back in March, one of their CSR's called me on the phone to ask me to sign up for one of their monthly plans. He told me that I would get a $50 Circuit City Gift Card and all I had to do was sign up. I went ahead and signed up thinking AT&T is pretty reputable and they'll come through. I was wrong.

Those punks gave me the run around for 3 months and numerous phone calls. I NEVER RECEIVED my Circuit City Gift Card and upon cancelling my service with them, I told them that I wanted all my charges taken off for not getting my Gift Card. They said yes, and to this day, I still have a $10.+ charge that they refuse to remove. I filed a complaint with the FCC as well as our state agency, but nothing yet.

People....IF IT'S TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, AND IT COMES FROM AT&T, THAN CHANCES ARE, YOU'RE GONNA GET SCREWED!

Thanks for the warning. I'm sure this deal would be a little easier to be sure about, since it's online, but I haven't done it yet. Besides, just to counteract, I should say I've had nothing but good experiences with AT&T. I'm still not sure if I want them to take money out of my account every month, but if anyone does this deal, and gets (or doesn't get) the gift card, let us know.

Thanks,

Ricky

Actually, I have a very good experience with ATT which is quite opposite to the post above.
I signed up for the online billing back in like several months ago. This was the chance when they first started this thing.. I jumped on the deal hoping to get a 25 GC. After a month or so, I never got the GC that they promised me. So I went on emailed them about that.
And got a reply pretty soon, saying that the usual stuff... like how sorry they were and stuff....
Then, they promised me like 15 dollars every months for 4 month off from my long distance bill. and a week later they sent me the $25 GC/ So I was very happy with that. But the story does not end here....

After a couple of months later, I got another e-mail from them saying that they were sorry for sending out invalid GC number. But I already used it, no problem....
and then went on giving me another $25 GC.
So total 2 #25 GC and about $50 dollar off from the bill... like $100 from them...

see why I am happy with that.....

This deal has been circulating around for a long while. In fact, you can get $30 instead of $25. I remember I bookmarked the link in my office. Check back the thread and I will post the link next week.

Oh, I forgot to mention this. I actually got 3 GCs from AT&T when I first signed up. I guess it was an error but all GCs were valid.

Sweet. 3 GC's. Can't beat that deal. Sorry if this has been floating around for a while. My wife told me the same thing when I mentioned it to her. But for those who didn't know, it's still a useful deal.

Always keep forgetting to mention important info. FYI, in order to receive $30 Amazon GC, you cannot currently enroll other promotional plans, such as AT&T 5¢ eWeekends Plan, AT&T One Rate® 7¢ Plan, AT&T One Rate® Weekend Plan, and the $4.95 per month ISP service, you know the one which will show ad banners whenever you go online.
