Get 7900GT / X1900XT Now or Wait?

G'day folks. Right now, I can get either the 7900GT for ~$265 or the X1900XT for ~$365.
That's a decent bit less that what's listed at the egg.

Will only be really gaming towards the end of April and so was wondering if the prices of the two are expected to drop significantly within the next ~1.5 months.

Thanks.

prices are always dropping.,,, if u plan on gaming then ..just wait til then to get stuff..ull thank me later

Where can you get a 7900GT for $265? I say go for that now as they're sold out everywhere and prices don't look like their going to drop that significantly in 1.5 months.

Wait for the prices to drop (Just in case) .. and for people to give you a better feedback on both 7900 and 1900. There's just no point in buying computer parts for future.

Wait for what exactly? What we know about the g80 and r600 are mostly rumors, so you could potentially end up waiting another 5-6 months or more. And in 1.5 months newegg will most likely not have prices as low as what you're getting, definitely not $365 for the x1900xt. So, you can wait another month, but you probably wont gain much if anything by waiting.

dell sb. there's a 25% off coupon out there, plus fatcash from fw, plus a $5 pricgrabber rebate.

Only problem is the wait time is 1-2 weeks, and with dell, that translates to 1-2 months.

I'd wait. Simply cuz the IQ on the 7900 series isn't great and the X1900XTs run too hot. And also the fact that newer cards run faster.
