I applied, but I was sent the Student Discover Classic. I didn't know they could do send you a card that you didn't apply for if you are denied for the higher card. Did this happen to anyone else?

CC companies do that all the time (sending you a lamer card). I always call when I can and tell them I don't want anything other than what I am applying for. Some will ask you before sending the other card.

Just call them and complain and tell them you don't want it...mabye they'll give you the other one.
