First, to Mwilding, absolutely not. Nobody in Germany gives a Nazi salute under any circumstances. It is a very harshly punished crime. Nobody jokes about it. Even mentioning Hitler's name in public in anything that could be seen as a supportive manner is grounds for imprisonment.

The Germans hate Hitler, they hate the Nazis and they hate neo-Nazis. Travel through Berlin and you will find any pro-Nazi graffiti scribbled over with "Nazis raus" or something like that. The only place the radical right even has support is in the countryside in East Germany where there is extreme poverty. Often, however, they rail against immigrants there, not Jews.
