wouldnt expect much hu ha over this here since many people here support torture for some reason 🙁

So I guess you are going to support kidnapping? What exactly did you want them to do? He was not going to give the answer and by the time they had tried normal methods for 7 hours, the kid was already dead.

Hmm... POS law student of young kid. Whose blood do you have on your hands Czar?
respect for the law, do you have that?

I have more respect for the law than you could ever imagine. I don't have respect for those that want little boys to die because they think the THREAT(not actual torture) of torture is more terrible than kidnapping and murder. Tell me Czar, are you pro-murder and pro-kidnapping?
then are you just against the law enforcment abiding by the law?

You can't keep dodging my question and then ask one of your own. Are you for kidnapping and murder? Do you like seeing dead little kids?
thats because that isnt the issue, the issue is that torture is illegal under german laws and international laws, regardless of the case any law enforcement must abide by the law, if it doesnt it falls under the same catagory as criminals, those who dont respect the law.

Answer the question Czar or concede.
concede? so this is a contest for you?

grow up

Not it isn't a "contest" for me Czar. I ask you a question and you feel that you don't need to answer it. If you don't want to answer questions and just prefer to a straight debate we can do that. There was no actual "torture" here. It was the "THREAT" of torture.

Could that be because your question was idiotic? If you don't support whatever method the police is using you are supporting the criminals? Yeah... "either you are with us, or with the criminals"...

If you have law enforcement breaking the law, then who is there to uphold it?

If your kid was kidnapped, what would you like the police to do? Do everything in their power to save your kid's life? Or do 75%? Even 90%? Even 99.999999%?

I'm thinking there would be a lot of hypocrites in this thread if the situation involved them personally.

My point exactly, but none of them are going to admit it. In a hands off situation they can judge the police officer, but if it happened to them they would be singing a different tune.

Time for a reality check folks, video tape stopped a time honored tradition of torture all over the world.

My dad was a cop in the 50's & he told me more than once that they dealt with trash in a pretty methodical way, falls down stairs, crack their head on a car roof getting into the car, etc.... Granted his stories were more of a punishment of the assumed guilty, but similar to the torture issue & it's largely stopped.

Now with all the lawsuits & videotape documentation, the reality of a need for physical coercion has reared it's ugly head.

Should child molesters/murders be tortured to disclose the whereabouts of children's corpses?

Should terrorists be tortured to prevent one or more deaths?

Should kidnappers be tortured to reveal where a kidnap victim is held?

I wish I had some easy answers & or a promise that no innocent person would ever be tortured.

I suspect that in the event that there's a high probability that harm is eminent to another human being, we as a society will allow some forms of torture, in the US, it's limited to sleep deprivation other mild forms.
