Germany Struggles To Integrate 1 Million Refugees

Germany is showing the world what a big mistake it was to take in the refugees. The refugees have no intent on integrating and only bring the old way of life. They are making Germany less safe at the same time costing Germany billions of dollars.

The refugees are having a hard time adjusting and its no surprise. Germany should never have brought them. The refugees must be sent back otherwise Germany will only become worse off.

YEA! I mean, there's no Chinatown areas in cities or Little Italy, or Little Warsaw, we nip that shit in the bud. Don't you go acknowledging your cultural heritage in our country, bastards.
And I firmly stand by my claim of your lack of soul.

Seems like saving a million people is something worth struggling for, particularly when the struggle is something as minor as helping the people integrate.

I might have an opinion on the refugee situation, problem is as long as there is right wing nutjobs with an agenda screaming hate or neo nazi propaganda into a megaphone - it is hard if not impossible to get an honest discussion going.

Refugees aren't supposed to integrate overnight. Remember, the ideal outcome would be some measure of peace and stability in Syria/Libya/Sudan so that these people can return home.

We in the US are very, very lucky to have vast oceans and friendly neighbors on all our borders.

I'd be curious to know what your proposed solution be? If you were a German Chancellor, would you rather spend billions on a war for regime change, or millions on a refugee program? Or would you rather do nothing and let the Middle East go to Hell?

The OP continues to show the world how much of a xenophobic racist he really is.

Probably thinks of them as Romani who the germans/ europeans have killed for over 900 years and tried to systematically sterilize voluntarily or involutarily.. basically anything to make them look like a boogeyman but not a way to make them "integrate".

Bullshit! Germany is not struggling at all to integrate refugees. Germany overall is doing a great job and proving that they can in fact do it.

Awesome example.

So, Germany is being overrun by a sizable minority who are in turn destroying their country and culture.

What do you think Germany's final solution to the refugee question is?

The difference is Germany is trying, US is just saying fuck off got mine to the refugees.

Fucking Canada took in 40k Syrian refugees, with 15k being privately sponsored.

I was wondering when that would come around. :D

I'm not going to bother and I have other things to do today anyway. All I'll say is that of course there are going to be problems. If a population equivalent to that of Oregon were plopped in our lap, one which does not speak our language and who are utterly alien in culture in many ways, of course, there would be serious and significant issues.

What that means in a larger and more complete context is the issue and today ain't the day for me.

Who knew it would be hard? I mean, people were saying, some very big brained people I might add, that it will be easy!! :D

The people left a war zone and you think it will be all rosey in integrating them? o_O
At least Germany had the courage to take that many. Even here in Canada we only took something like 25k, which is nothing compared what Germany is dealing with.

They are struggling, at least according to German friends of mine.

Probably doesn't help that certain large countries that could take in more to share the burden won't.

It is about perspective and context. What about the next million? The next million? The next? If we break down then no one gets help.
As apes will be apes, at a certain point we will have laid the seeds for a demagogue(cough, trump, cough) to seize the day and rally the angry mob and then all hell breaks loose. Again. I sense the direction that immigration policy is taking now it to close down the influx by 95% and create camps and safe zones closer to their homes .. That is gonna cost a lot of money, more money than usual and also require boots on the ground to keep the peace. These are not solutions coming from right-wing parties but rather center and socialistic .. I guess everyone is seeing the writing on the wall.
The difference between right wing and center/center-left is that the right wingers wanna toss those all ready here AND not pay a damn dime to help these people out.
