I would of gotten a 997 GT2, but not a bad choice. 😉

Or seen if Jay would sell his 1937 Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic. 😀

Why does he have that "What the hell did I just buy" look on his face?

He's used to Lambo interiors I guess 🙂

haha.

I did not know Germans have princes...I am surprised he didn't pick a German car though.

I showed this to my colleagues (many are German)...they were not so amused. I always give them a hard time that a Dodge and a Chevy are faster around the 'Ring than any Porsche (edit: production). It's all in good fun.

A Corvette ZR-1 is not my most drool-worthy car, but if I had the money, I'd definitely own one. Cars I'd probably buy before it:

Aston Martin DBS
Pagani Zonda F
Audi R8 V10
Lamborghini Gallardo

By all accounts, a Porsche 911GT1 (25 road-going production versions were made, and it literally has nothing to do with other '911' models) *should* be capable of sub-7-minute 'Ring runs, but I don't think anyone's ever actually tried it on a closed track with a pro driver.

~700HP, 2400lbs
Ridiculous downforce
~235mph+ top speed
F1-class braking/handling

But as such a limited run, they're probably epic $$$. I wonder when the last one sold?

EDIT : Corrected specs and performance for Roadgoing model.
