German Movies

What is everyone's favorite german movie or movies ? Seems like a good amount of them are pretty good. Seems like movies from other countries are a lot more original now a days than the movies here in the US.

Faust and Nosferatu by F.W. Murnau are probably my favorite German flicks. There was an excellent remake of Nosferatu done by another German as well.

Metropolis by Fritz Lang(does he count? Austrian I think?)

Also, the films that everyone knows about: Das Boot and Run Lola Run

Sorry, having lazy editing problems

There needs to be a firefox extenstion or greasemonkey script where you can just click on a movie name someone says and it brings you straight to imdb.

The F.W. Murnau and Fritz Lang films are all old silent movies.

I liked Run Lola Run, and Goodbye Lenin was good, too (I think that was German...).

And no, I don't know any German. Subtitles are my friend.
