What will those wacky krauts think of next!

first we've got the German computer nerd cannibal, who decided to get rid of the Cheetos and go on the Atkins diet (high protein, if you know what i mean)

now we have a guy who taught his dog Adolf to raise his right paw in a stiff arm salute when he shouts Zeig Heil!!

Fun Loving Germans!

what will they think of next?

"Where are we living?" news magazine Der Spiegel said this week in a report on the case. "Has all measure of the difference between normal and abnormal, right and wrong, of morality and decency been lost?"
Yep, at least they understand something isn't quite right in the ol' Bundesrepublik....

what about free speech? the poor guy was only expressing himself...

"Displaying Nazi symbols in public is a crime in Germany under laws meant to prevent any recurrence of Nazism"

what are they defining as "nazism"? the word nazi is a contraction for the term "national socialist" and germany is more than toyiing with socialism again...

"Socialism" wasn't the defining concept of Nazi Germany. There are plenty of stable socialist countries in Europe and elsewhere. The defining concept of Nazi Germany was facism/xenophobia.

It may or not be of interest but until the early 1940's the pledge of allegance to the US was made with a stiff arm out and upward almost like the German Hitler salute except with the palm up and was changed because of the Hitler salute.

that is incorrect.

hitler's philosphy was near straight marxism with a big dose of neitschze thrown in, he quoted both often.
