You don't see a problem with a teacher selling closet space for sex between middle school kids?

err, sorry, didn't mean to say selling. I didn't see where it said he was selling the space and time. If so, that's a bit screwed up.

While not very close to the same, my ex-coworker told her kids, "while don't want you having sex too young, i'd rather you do it here and using protection than some crazy place with out protection" I knew someone that claimed to have had sex in school. i knew a few that did fool around. Also had a teacher that wasn't afraid to answer questions about sex despite the abstinence only policy being in effect by the time i met him. Some how the topic came up in class and he side tracked the class talking about it once. As far as i know, he never got in trouble. I know it's not the same thing, but the times are changing. But again, if he was selling the time and space... yea, that's screwed.

So you see nothing wrong with a teacher allowing children to have sex in the school. But think that it is screwed up he is charging them for it.

You have some strange thoughts. I hope you don't have kids.

He wasn't charging for the closet time. The kid was offering to pay him for condoms. His message was typed in a dumb order that made it unclear.

He's just letting teens be teens. admittedly it is odd, but it is not that bad. Far Worse things could happen. And the teens are actually trying to have Sex Safely. It's good that they are thinking about preventing pregenacy ahs STDs.

I'm sorry, but you are an idiot for thinking this is the answer to teens and unprotected sex.

I didn't say it was an answer, i just said it was better and i don't see a huge problem with it. School district wants to fire him, that's fine; i can understand that. I'm just hoping they don't file some sort of sexual charges against the guy. Also, no where that i saw said the teacher suggested it.

It could have been a lot worse. It just seems to me it's another case of a shitty parent wanting to blame someone else for their kids behavior. Because it's NEVER their fault.

I didn't say it was an answer, i just said it was better and1.) i don't see a huge problem with it. 2.) School district wants to fire him, that's fine; i can understand that. I'm just 3.) hoping they don't file some sort of sexual charges against the guy. 4.) Also, no where that i saw said the teacher suggested it.

1.) So you have no problems with an Adult placed in a position of trust with your kids allowing and enabling children having sex in a classroom. That is crazy! He should have prevented it and notified the parents and the school administration. I wonder what else was going on behind closed doors.

2.) He should be fired for violating the trust placed upon him for the students in his charge.

3.) He should also be charged with child endangerment and be investigated to see what else was taking place behind closed doors.

4.) It doesn't matter who suggested it. He is an adult and should have prevented it and not enabled it.

5.) Where does anything indicate a shitty parent? Not even in the discussion. The children were in the teachers charge when this happened. His responsibility at that point.

You should be a great parent when you grow up. Or not.

And now the rest of the story...
After all the trauma the kid went thru thanks to old mom, he ended up turning gay.
Afraid to have anything to do with girls ever again.
So there mom. You now have a gay son.
And he'll probably catch aids and die before he's 20.
Then, in the end, maybe she can sell her story to Lifetime Movies channel?

I'm really curious as to how it got to this point. Did the kid approach the Teacher about this or what?

Not that it makes it acceptable, I just can't imagine the scenario that lead up to this point.

Are you saying that you think this is acceptable behaviour for a teacher in charge of your kids like JoeBleed does?

I can't agree with that assessment. If he hadn't allowed them to do it at school (not saying that was right), they would have just found somewhere else to do it. If you feel he should have notified the parents the assumption is because you assume they would want to talk to the kids about their behavior implying some level of responsibility. Unless you feel it just should have been "FYI, your kids were getting busy" in which case why does it matter where they got busy?

He should NOT have allowed it to happen in school Period. And should have notified the parents. YOUR assumption that the parents would not want to talk to the children is asinine.

if you don't see why middle aged kids fucking in a middle school closet/room/whatever (and sanctioned by the teacher) is inappropriate, then we'll just have to agree to disagree. And no, I don't have a problem with middle school kids fucking - go home and fuck while your parents are gone like everyone else.

I didn't say I didn't find it inappropriate. I said that the fact he felt the parents should be told because the act itself was inappropriate, not just the location, would seem to imply that the parents have some level of responsibility in this.
