Nothing surprises me anymore.
They do whatever they like and what?
They get away with it while democrats in congress are helpless with getting their voter laws passed. Republicans seem to have no problem getting their crap passed into law or blocking what democrats want to do. Voter suppression, abortion restrictions, hell even Louis DeJoy is still the head of the US Postal System and he's a leftover Trumpie gangster. Explain THAT.
If Obama had left in place one of his people when Trump took over you can bet that Trump would have them gone on day one with no questions asked. As Trump always did.

So I guess it's give Trump a cookie, put him back in charge, and let the takeover begin. Why wait till 2022 or 2024? When there's pain its best to get it over with asap.

Yeah, there obviously was no need for those pesky parts of the Voting Rights Act anymore. /sarcasm

Ah, the curse of American that just keeps on giving. 200+ years of racism seems to be so ingrained in this country, particularly in the south. Horrifyingly, some republicans I've known for years are slowly becoming racist as well. As the GOP has shifted in this direction, racism has been so ramped up by Trump and his allies, that it's become like HPV, too bad there is not vaccine; and we can't ban people from watching FOX 'news'.

One word: Manchin.
I've said it before, Manchin is a symptom of how crazy the Republicans have become. He is a conservatives. He is not even close to what anyone would consider a liberal. He should be a Republican, but he simply is not ideologically pure enough for the current Republican party. So, the Democrats, always trying to be inclusive, took him in and he has since worked at sabotaging everything they are trying to do.

One of the reasons that Republicans are able to get things done is because they are not afraid to put real pressure on their members to fall in line. Democrats on the other hand are facing one of their own that basically disagrees with every plank of the platform and has just accepted that means they won't get anything done this term.

Yes, he's difficult, but from a different perspective, Ds are lucky to have a Senator at all from a Trump +60 state that gives them the majority.

Don't like it? Win more elections. Work at a different level of govt. Where is the state and local strategy?

Where's the ruthlessness? We had Trump minions killing cops and shitting in the Capital rotunda... what costs have been imposed? Nothing

Bannon, Meadows, et al are laughing at feeble D attempts at accountability.

Have we seen the full Mueller report? Has Don McGahn testified yet?

Nothing surprises me anymore.

We've seen what's coming for months/years now, and the Ds in charge are unable to strategize and act decisively to stop it.

Dickless, blundering and cowardly.

Good policy ideas, complete lack of capability to realize.

In other words, Dems are still behaving as if we’re in a functioning democracy, while the other side is getting closer to permanent control at all 3 branches of the federal government (never mind a plurality of statehouses.)

If you think the GOP will stop at controlling all 3 branches with gerrymandered/rigged election precision…boy wait till you see their list of proposed constitutional amendments.

And when they control the vote count 2/3 should be a cakewalk.

All Trump supporting Republicans are evil, so most of them. All Republicans that don't speak out against the evil in their party, complicit.

Basically 90% of the Republican party is shit.

Again, no hope to save the country, best to give the evils a place to call their own so at least half of us can live in decency.

Bro. 100% to the very last drop and it's been that way for a long, long time.
