I just saw the context of the clip and lol!

How demented does one have to be to do such things unquestionably? Like at what point would you think, 'you know, I'm not a fan of Muslims but this seems a little too outlandish for me and maybe my hatred isn't worth making a fool out of myself just to "defend" myself in a situation that is likely never to occur'.

The other question I have is if this politician had any sort of epiphany.

I also don't see how he can do a similar season 2 when folks know to look out.

Either way, I have yet to see an episode because I keep forgetting.... definitely on my watch list.

His explicit excuse for his behavior in that video is that he thought it was actual anti-terrorism tactics for an actual anti-terrorism video, and that Baron Cohen was playing on his fears.

Uh, no shit, dude. That's the joke - that you're so bugshit paranoid about Muslims, and so credulous, and so stupid, that you'd literally show your ass on camera rather than question your underlying assumptions.

Legalities aside, I believe that Sacha's victims deserve compensation. I'm thinking along the lines of a year's supply of Turtle Wax and maybe a fruit basket. Time is money, you know.

I thought the Bernie Sanders clip was hilarious. You could see in Bernies face the rage growing within.

I wonder how much of this was due to the editing.
Seems like every time he tried to bait a liberal, they saw through his BS more or less right away.
Seems like every time he tried to bait a conservative, he caught a really big fish, except for that one senator who more or less said "you can't expect me to say that on camera."

Overall, it's pretty funny, but the pool of political satire is already pretty crowded and diluted.
